Requirements for printing on neoprene

Our factory can apply images by hand or by silk screen printing to a wide range of neoprene surfaces.

The quality and stability of printing on neoprene depends on many factors:

the width of the lines and fills of the logo and print;

stretchability of neoprene;

operating and storage conditions of the product;

and many other factors.

Therefore, Aquadiscovery does not provide a guarantee for this service.

General recommendations for an electronic layout

The pattern or logo is applied to the neoprene by silk screen printing.

When we receive an order from you, we assume that all the original layouts have been prepared taking into account these technical requirements and do not require any edits. Otherwise, it may result in defective products.

To apply an individual pattern, you need to send two files: one file that is the layout for printing, and a second file — a general diagram of the suit showing the placement of the pattern and distances from reference points or seams.

We accept silk screen printing layouts created in the following programs: CorelDRAW up to version 16. All electronic materials must be prepared for the PC platform.

Acceptable file formats:

  • .cdr — CorelDRAW up to version 16; fonts in curves; effects separated from objects;
  • .pdf — fonts in curves.

Requirements for an electronic layout

Silkscreen printing layouts should ONLY be provided in vector format.

The use of bitmaps, gradient fills, halftones, and effects (transparency, shadows, etc.) is NOT ALLOWED.

  1. All texts should be converted to curves (“Outlines”). Files must not contain full-color bitmap images.

  2. There must be no hidden or redundant objects; all objects must be closed; object nodes must not form loops; and the number of nodes should be minimal.

  3. The minimum line thickness for printing is 0.5 mm (the smaller the elements, the faster they will wear off).

  4. Images for full-color silk-screen printing must not include effects or transparency.

  5. Multi-layered layouts are not allowed, nor are locked or hidden elements.
