BMP Extended Foot Protection System
AQUADISCOVERY BMP Duratex® Socks are designed for spearfishing, scuba diving, freediving and other water sports where walking over rocks, reefs, shells and other abrasive surfaces is unavoidable. They combine excellent thermal insulation, comfort, outstanding durability and reliable foot protection, even in the most demanding conditions.
The key feature of the model is the proprietary BMP Extended Foot Protection System. The Duratex® sole provides an enlarged protection area, covering not only the bottom of the foot but also extending to the inner and outer sides, as well as the toe and heel. The system reinforces exactly the areas that experience the greatest wear when walking over rocks and other abrasive surfaces, significantly extending the service life of the socks.
Unlike conventional neoprene socks, the reinforced sole is manufactured as a single seamless panel extending continuously from the sole over the heel to the upper cuff. This design improves durability, increases comfort and provides additional protection to the areas exposed to the highest wear.
The upper cuff features an outer Smooth Skin surface, creating a tighter seal against the wetsuit and significantly reducing cold water flushing into the socks for improved thermal insulation.
Premium 100% CR neoprene is laminated with durable nylon on both the inside and outside, making the socks easy to put on without soapy water while improving durability.
Like all AQUADISCOVERY socks, every seam is double glued and stitched with a double blind stitch, ensuring exceptional strength, durability and long service life.
